How We Produce

Temax XPS is produced from GPPS Polystrene, color, talc and flame retardant. Firstly the machine is heated and it takes 3-4 hours. When the machine is heated sufficiently, gas pumps are kept ready by starting the motors of the gas pumps. TEMAXPS uses 3 different gases which are CO2, R152A and Dimethyl ether DME to get high quality foam structure. Then the raw materials are going into one main silo according to percentage. After that the materials start to extrude. Materials go through different processes after the extrusion process.

Which are;

  • Longer side edge trimming and board cutting,
  • Waffled surface of XPS boards,
  • Inkjet printer for product labeling,
  • Short side edge trimming
  • Packaging

Also this unit allows us to produce 3 different widths which are 0,6m – 0,9m – 1,2m and with this unit we can set the thickness of XPS boards between16-120 mm. When the process finished there is some material which can be recycled so the unit sends the materials to the recycled unit after that the materials are put into production again. So we can say Temax XPS is produced with 100% recyclable zero-waste technology.
